Ali Gulamhussein
After successfully completing a business degree at Brunel University in London, United Kingdom, Ali Gulamhussein cut his sales teeth on real estate in Dubai, before moving back to his native Tanzania and joining Plasco Limited as an area sales manager over a decade ago.
The outstanding performance saw him progress his way through the roles of Business Development Executive and onto being the Sales Manager for the newly introduced Weholite HDPE Structured Wall Pipe product, a brand new Plasco investment. Ali has helped to introduce Weholite Technology into Tanzania and overseen its steady growth.
In April 2022 he took over as General Manager at Plasco Limited, steering the whole business through its most successful period by creating a strong team and raising the Plasco brand right across East Africa.

A member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA), Mussa has demonstrated consistent success in optimizing financial operations across diverse industries during his tenure of over a decade at Plasco Limited. His expertise lies in delivering results and enhancing fiscal strategies to drive organizational growth.
Edith James
Sales & Marketing Manager
Edith, a Certified Public Accountant (NBAA) and Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner (GENOS International – Australia), currently leads Plasco Ltd.’s Sales and Marketing division as Manager since May 2019. She previously held the Assistant Manager role from Sept 2017 to April 2019. With over a decade of experience in Project Management, Contract Negotiations, Sales, and Marketing, including roles in Government Sales and Project Management, Edith’s expertise uniquely enriches Plasco Ltd.’s strategies.
Saravanan Babu
Testing & QMS Specialist
Saravanan is a seasoned professional with a Master’s Degree in Quality Management from Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani, India. He holds a BEng in Polymer Technology from Kamaraj University, Tamilnadu, India, and is a Certified Lead Auditor of QMS ISO 9001:2015. Since 2011, he has been Plasco Ltd.’s Plastic Pipe Testing and QMS Specialist, amassing over 16 years of quality management and process engineering experience in plastic pipe extrusion and process industries. He is also skilled in SAP Business One ERP administration.

Quality Assurance Manager
Possessing a BSc in Chemical and Process Engineering, Aloyce brings over a decade of expertise in Quality Assurance across diverse manufacturing sectors including Cement, Brewing, Textile, and Plastic Pipe industries. With a remarkable tenure of over 10 years, Aloyce has also excelled in shaping and managing Quality Management Systems. This extensive experience underscores Aloyce’s proficiency in ensuring top-notch quality standards across various industrial landscapes.

Production Manager
Since August 2023, Lijin has led as Plasco Ltd.’s Production Manager. With 16+ years’ experience in Production, Quality, and Supply Chain Planning from top Plastics Manufacturers in India and Oman, Lijin holds a BSc in Polymer Chemistry, a PG Diploma in Plastics Processing and Testing (CIPET India), and an MBA in Operations and International Trade Management. This rich background equips Lijin to excel in enhancing Plasco Ltd.’s production endeavors.

Human Resources Manager
With a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and a Master’s degree in Human Resources, both from Mzumbe University, Doris has amassed over 17 years of experience as an HR Professional across industries such as Gas & Oil, Airline, manufacturing, and Telecom. This extensive tenure has cultivated a profound understanding of HR practices and their strategic significance. Doris’s versatility in diverse organizational contexts underscores her adeptness and underscores the pivotal role in achieving business objectives.
Neema Manyaga
Assistant Marketing & Sales Manager
Neema is currently the Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager at Plasco Ltd. She holds a BSc in Electromechanical Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam. Her career at Plasco started as a Sales Officer from 2019 to 2022, where she demonstrated strong sales skills. Prior to that, she worked as an Electrical Engineer at Tanzania Biotech Products Ltd. from 2015 to 2019 and as a Radiation Protection Officer at The Radiation Protection Board of Kenya from 2013 to 2015. Neema also has experience as a Sales Administrator at Delta Industrial Equipment Limited, showcasing her versatility across roles.

Gilman is Plasco’s Senior Accountant, reporting to the Finance Manager, with over 9 years of experience in manufacturing industries. As Management Accountant, he oversees various financial functions, including accounting operations, budgeting, costing, financial planning, treasury, business support, audit, and taxation at Plasco Limited. Gilman, who joined Plasco in 2017 as Finance and Treasury Officer, holds a Bachelor of Commerce in finance from the University of Dodoma and is a member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA).

Michael is a seasoned Financial Accountant with a wealth of experience in auditing, accounting, and reporting.
